Research Interests
Our current main research efforts focus on four directions:
(1) CO2 chemistry: (1a) development of new quantitative theoretical framework to guide strategic plannings for substantial abatement of CO2 emissions; and (1b) development of new thermochemical, electrochemical and photoelectrochemical technologies for chemical utilizations of CO2 as a C1 feedstock in the production of drugs, polymers and large-volume chemicals;
